Introduction to Vickers Hardness Testers

Jan 01, 2026 Leave a message

Vickers hardness testers have a wide range of testing forces, and can test any workpiece surface roughness as long as it meets the standard. The Vickers hardness tester uses a stepper motor to press into the workpiece surface, and then a reading microscope measures the diagonal length of the indentation. The Vickers hardness is then determined using a conversion relationship between the diagonal and the testing force. Additionally, Vickers hardness tester software can be installed to display images on a computer screen, making the hardness measurement more convenient and faster.

The Vickers hardness tester is a high-tech product integrating opto-mechatronics. This machine has a novel design and excellent reliability, operability, and intuitiveness. It is a new type of Vickers and Knoop hardness testing instrument that utilizes precision mechanical technology and optoelectronic technology.
