Product Introduction

HV-1000Z micro Vickers hardness tester

HV-1000Z -

Main Features of Non-Digital Microhardness Tester
The non-digital microhardness tester is a classic basic model for microhardness testing, featuring a core operation mode of optical eyepiece observation + manual measurement and calculation. It abandons digital display and automation modules while retaining the core micro-measurement performance of microhardness testers. With advantages such as simple structure, high stability, low cost and easy maintenance, it is suitable for basic teaching, simple testing in small laboratories, low-frequency microhardness testing and other scenarios. Its core features are as follows:
1. Retains core micro-measurement performance to meet basic testing needs
It inherits the core configuration of microhardness testers, with a test force covering the classic micro load range of 0.098N (10gf) ~ 9.807N (1000gf), and is standard equipped with diamond Vickers/Knoop indenters. The micron-level indentation enables hardness testing of thin parts, coatings, infiltration/plating layers, micro parts and micro areas of materials. Integrated with a 100×~400× high-magnification optical system, it provides a clear eyepiece field of view for accurate observation of material microstructures and indentation contours. Its measurement accuracy complies with the basic standards of GB/T 4340.2 and ISO 6507-2, meeting the precision requirements of conventional microhardness testing.
2. Pure mechanical manual control with simple structure and low failure rate
Adopting a design of pure mechanical transmission + manual loading and unloading, it has no precision electrical components such as electronic digital display modules, sensors and control systems. The core components include a friction-free precision spindle, mechanical load adjustment mechanism and optical measuring eyepiece. The whole machine has a compact structure and few core components, which greatly reduces detection problems caused by electrical failures, system crashes and data drift. It operates with high stability in laboratories, teaching workshops and other environments, and has a much lower failure rate in long-term use compared with digital models.
3. Classic and easy-to-operate optical eyepiece manual measurement
Indentation diagonal measurement is completed through the micrometer scale built into the optical eyepiece with precise graduation (minimum division value of 0.1μm). The operation process is a fixed classic sequence: manual loading and dwell → align indentation with eyepiece → measure diagonal with micrometer scale → calculate hardness value manually. No learning of digital system operation or software debugging is required, and students and junior inspectors can quickly get started after simple training, making it suitable for scenarios such as material major teaching in universities and basic laboratory testing.
4. Low manufacturing cost, high cost performance and convenient maintenance
Without additional modules such as electrical digital display and data storage, the overall manufacturing cost is greatly reduced, and the selling price is only 1/3 to 1/2 of that of digital microhardness testers, which is suitable for universities and small enterprise laboratories with limited budgets. Routine maintenance only requires cleaning optical lenses, lubricating mechanical transmission parts, and calibrating indenters and micrometer scales. No professional technicians are needed for electrical maintenance or system calibration. The maintenance cost is low, with few wearing parts and low-priced accessories, ensuring controllable long-term use costs.
5. High-rigidity body design to ensure measurement stability
The body is made of integrally cast cast iron with a heavy-duty base, featuring strong anti-vibration and anti-deformation capabilities, which effectively offsets the impact of slight environmental vibration on micro-measurement. The worktable is equipped with a precision manual XY fine-tuning + lifting mechanism with accurate positioning and smooth adjustment, enabling multi-point positioning detection in micro areas and ensuring the alignment accuracy of indentation for each measurement, thus avoiding measurement errors caused by positioning deviation.
6. Strong adaptability with support for basic function expansion
It is compatible with two measurement modes (Vickers and Knoop), and HV/HK hardness measurement can be achieved by replacing diamond indenters, adapting to a variety of materials such as metals, ceramics, glass and infiltration/plating layers. Although it has no native digital display function, it can expand the indentation imaging function by connecting an external CCD camera eyepiece, which projects the eyepiece field of view onto a display screen. This facilitates multi-person observation and teaching demonstration, and also assists manual measurement to reduce visual fatigue, meeting basic expansion needs.
