Founded in February 1948, the company was formerly known as Shandong Yexian Material Testing Machine Factory and Laizhou Testing Machine General Factory. It was officially renamed Laizhou Huayin Testing Instrument Co., Ltd. in 1990, a name it retains to this day. Since the 1960s, Huayin has been designated by the Chinese government as a national hardness tester R&D base. China’s first Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, Shore, Leeb, and Scleroscope hardness testers were all independently developed by our company. Recognized as a national quality benchmark enterprise, Huayin was awarded one of China’s prestigious “Five Red Flags” for quality excellence.
