How Do I Adjust A Brinell Hardness Tester If It's Inaccurate?

Adjustment Method:

Leveling: Use a level to ensure the surface is level; error ≤ 0.2/1000.

Replacing the Steel Ball: Use a micrometer to select a qualified steel ball with a diameter error ≤ ±0.5%.

Adjusting the Indentation Measuring Device: Error ≤ ±0.5%.

Straightening the Weights: Check that the lifting ring is properly positioned on the cutting edge and that the lifting rod is straight.

Correcting Verticality/Coaxiality: Adjust the verticality of the main spindle to the test platform and the coaxiality of the main spindle axis to the lifting screw axis.
